Circus Devils Escape

The Circus Devils are an experimental rock band from the USA founded by Robert Pollard. The band has been recording for 13 years and consists of Pollard (best known as the lead singer and songwriter of Guided by Voices) Todd Tobias (known for his collaboration with Robert Pollard, Guided by Voices, Kramies, The Library is on Fire, The Celebrity Pilots, Brian Lisik, Slark Martyr, and m George Griggs), and Tim Tobias.

"Escape" will be their thirteenth full-length cut as the Circus Devils. In the past they have Circus Devils employed a wide range of musical genres from acid rock to ambient. This time they are taking a reprise from their noisy psychedelic rock with a set of acoustic ballads;

Record label midheaven describes it as "friendly, lo-fi pop; and murky, otherworldly mood pieces. Once again, the trio delivers a mu- sical Twilight Zone where dream time and real time intermingle. For best results, listen late at night with headphones in a dark room."
