In 2009, Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones kept himself busy as a member of Them Crooked Vultures alongside Dave Grohl and Josh Homme. Now, he's started a new group with Norwegian ambient artist Deathprod (aka Helge Sten). They call themselves Minibus Pimps, and their LP Cloud to Ground is out March 3 via SusannaSonata, FACT reports.
The duo got their name from a Beijing Sound Unit song that was featured on a Chinese experimental music compilation called The Sonic Avant Garde. The songs from Cloud to Ground were culled from various live recordings.

"Minibus Pimps is a new and unique collaboration between John Paul Jones and Helge Sten. Using electronics, samplers, processors, instruments and ipads, the duo will be creating instrumental improvsations that will at times be ferocious and at others intricate. Come and take a ride with us!"
