Former Def Jam/Roc-a-Fella rapper Cam'ron is currently preparing to release what he claims will be his final studio album. Before then he will release a brand new EP with Taylor Gang rapper Berner. Cam'ron released his debut album in 1998 and has had three album receive Gold certification, with one of those eventually gaining Platinum certification. Berner has released multiple popular mixtapes but has fallen victim of the slow process of releasing an album with Taylor Gang Records. This month Ty Dolla $ign will become just the third artist to release a studio album with Taylor Gang since they started releasing albums in 2011. The Contraband EP is scheduled to be released on November 10, 2015. The lead single from the EP is "Why Wait" and features Wiz Khalifa and 2 Chainz.
