"[It’s] cookout music that just feels good. My last album was protest music. I was like, ‘I’m going to take my ball and go home.’… This album is just embracing the music, embracing joy"
"I’m finishing my album and my next collection…"
"This is not album of the year. This is album of the life."
Kanye West announced on his official Twitter account that the new title of the album is "WAVES".
A recent Instagram post has sparked rumors of Tyler, The Creator doing a guest appearance on the forthcoming Waves LP. Tracey Mills, West's friend and designer, shows the Odd Future rapper sitting in a studio looking at a notepad similar to that which revealed "Waves" track listing. The photo is accompanied by the caption: "Wolf gang in the building #Waves 2|11|16"
So either he's just hanging out, or he is in fact recording.
Kanye West is holding a contest for fans to guess the meaning behind his album title.
"@studio /final verses /new album title T.L.O.P. That's the new album anybody who can figure out the title gets tickets to Season 3 and free Yeezys."

On February 14th, Kanye West took to his Twitter to announce "Ima fix wolves" followed by announcing a further delay on the sale of his 7th project, saying "Please for all music lovers. Please subscribe to tidal!!! I decided not to sell my album for another week. Please subscribe to tidal." The album (as it stands currently) is available to stream on Tidal.
This comes after West decided to scrap the original version of Wolves featuring Vic Mensa & Sia to replaced it with a version that has a rap verse by West & a short outro by the ever-mysterious Frank Ocean.
We can only speculate what other changes might be made in the next week.

And now he’s said it’ll be Tidal exclusive. Forever.
How is this ‘cookout’ music?
i think he made the whole album in two hours at a bbq from the sounds of it
