Self-branded 'epic shamanic metal band' Darkestrah are set to release their sixth full-length release, 'Turan', this April. It will be the band's first with new vocalist, Merkith. The band formed in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, but is now based in Germany. Despite line-up changes and relocating to another continent, the band's music still has one foot firmly placed in Central Asia, something which is reflected in their lyrical themes and instrumentation.
