Matthew Dear has announced a new album. It’s called Bunny and is out October 12 via Ghostly International. It’s the Detroit producer’s first album in 6 years. Dear’s last album Beams arrived in 2012, though he shared an LP titled Alpha as Audion in 2016. Last year, he shared a DJ-Kicks mix that featured some of his unreleased music, as well as tracks by Nils Frahm, Simian Mobile Disco, and others. His 2017 singles “Bad Ones” (with Tegan and Sara) and “Modafinil Blues” will appear on the upcoming LP. Tegan and Sara also appear on the Bunny track “Horses.”
