With the cover and tracklist leaked through Shazam, the new album of Canadian singer-songwriter Allie X, despite having no release date or more infos, has been building itself since the release of single "Fresh Laundry" since September 27th (along with the eerie video), followed by "Rings a Bell" and latest "Regulars", with an astounding video.
Speculation began when the single covers containing the saying "In cape god, in cape god, we live between the salty sea and sky above. In cape god, in cape god, we live in between a rising high and angry god." along with "Fig. 2" for "Fresh Laundry", "Fig. 4" for "Rings a Bell" and "Fig. 3" for "Regulars", were noted. On September 28th, through her Twitter account, Allie also tweeted a part of the saying, along with "welcome to **** ***. [wave emoji] [clouds emoji] [leaves emoji]".
The cover of the next single, speculated to be released on January 1st, 2020, is "Devil I Know" ("Fig. 1"), is already circulating through the web. Allie has been playing that and "Super Duper Party People" on live shows, and the cover of Troye Sivan's feature "Love Me Wrong" also leaked. We can expect a Mitski feature as well, entitled "Susie Save Your Love".
No official announcement was made, though, so it can all change till then...
Looking forward to hear this one.
I can’t wait! I’m sure this Is gonna be one of the top pop albums of the year
