Blink-182 have announced a new album called NINE. It’s out September 20 via Columbia. It includes the previously shared “Blame It on My Youth,” “Generational Divide,” and “Happy Days". Blink-182’s last record California arrived in 2016; it was their first LP to feature vocalist/guitarist Matt Skiba (of Alkaline Trio), who replaced former member Tom DeLonge in 2015.
This has to be one of the most confusing album titles. It’s their 8th album, and it’s called 9?
Buddha, Cheshire, Dude, Enema, TOYPAJ, self/un-titled,neighborhoods, California, and Nine will be the 9th.
Mark is quoted in an article on radio.com, “Nine is also the number of universal love, and the number of Uranus” lol
9th album in the official (Mark’s) count

What are peoples first impressions? I am curious about peoples opinions
This album honestly blows California out of the water.
Yeah? I haven’t had a chance to listen yet. I didn’t really care for “California,” so excited to give this one a spin.
As someone said already here, it is much better than California (not the Deluxe edition). Much more matured song writting and sound, it does sound exactly as they promised it to sound like. I give it 8.5/10 (the last 3-4 songs gets bit boring, but not a big deal). Heaven is my all time fav now.
This leaked a while ago……
Well as soon as I commented it updated for me ….weird
8,5/10 for me. Last 5 songs are perfection.
I could fart a better album than this. RIP blink.
