Following her fantastic debut "Vows" aussie alt-pop star has returned. With the lead single of "90's Music" Kimbra has shown that she is taking a more experimental and electronic approach to the record.

The record should be ground breaking as all of her work is. The album, "The Golden Echo" is due in August of 2014.
The joint "Golden Electric Tour" with Janelle Monae was going to kick off the era but sadly the tour was cancelled due to Janelle's health issues.
During a Twitter Q & A Kimbra announced that the record is 12 tracks plus multiple bonus tracks. The artwork and cover are based off of the story of Narcissus.
On June 10th the album pre-order went up offering two new tracks as gratification gifts. "Nobody But You" and "Love In High Places" were made available with "90's Music"

OMG SO EXCITED WHY HAS IT BEEN HYPED DOWN?!?!??
Why didn’t anyone at the opening of the “Golden Electric Tour” record any of the new songs? She did 3 and they only recorded stuff from “Vows”
All three of the released songs are amazingly Kimbra!
Love In High Places is a really good song. Well done Kimbra :)
