Ariana Grande has battled with and against Iggy Azalea throughout this summer, spewing off smash after smash. "Problem"! "Fancy"! "Break Free"! "Black Widow"! Ariana just took the ace out from under her sleeve though. She released a snippet of it via Instagram. "Love me harder/I'll love you harder" the chorus yells. Ariana has assembled an army of A List musicians to aide her on her anticipated sophomore effort, "My Everything". This is a single that will not go without a star. For this track, Grande recruited Montreal crooner Abel Tesfaye, who more widely known as The Weeknd. Grande, well known as a squeaky clean Nickolodeon alum, may risk criticism. Why? I'm not sure, but The Weeknd is well known for his incredible voice and rated R lyrics ("bring your body baby/I can bring my pain" is one. "Those are my motherfuckin words too", "Me and my niggers/we ain't ever going broke", "This the shit that I live for", etc. Not exactly something appropriate for under 15, maybe older). I doubt he'll get dirty, but hunches about songs have been wrong before (to name one, the rumor Iggy Azalea would be on the lead single of "My Everything"). Most are excited to see what they have to offer. All we can do now is hype it up and keep your news sources updated!
HAHAHA! I love both of these artists it just makes me laugh that The Weeknd’s lyrics are so explicit. I wish he would tone it down though. I should have censored the article I typed! :D
I agree with you… this combination should be fun… and actually you quoted the PG-13 lyrics, The Weeknd like to go above borderline with higher stuff ;)
Yeah. Silly me I should’ve been the one to tone it down hehehe
