Almost always if it demands you do a survey or offer to download it, it’s fake. 99% of the time it won’t count you as doing it even if you did it, and the 1% chance it does work it’s likely a fake file to begin with.

It’s not even listed that you get points for DOING updates either. This early on, losing 10 points meant I lost an entire rank. S:

I can’t edit my previous posts so I guess I’ll add this on as a reply, speaking of community guidelines, I wanted to mention this to the site staff, but the “We’re listening” link ON the community guidelines page leads to a 404 page not found thing. This should also probably be fixed.
