During the 2013 MTV VMA's, Eminem announced the release of his upcoming album, MMLPII. It will be the sequel to his 2000 album, The Marshall Mathers LP. The Marshall Mathers LP 2 will be the rapper's eighth studio album by American rapper Eminem and will be released through Aftermath Entertainment, Shady Records, and Interscope Records. Production for the album took place during 2011 to 2013, at several recording studios and was handled by various record producers, including himself, Rick Rubin, No ID and Dr. Dre.
Royce da 5'9" appeared on RapFix with his group Slaughterhouse, on August 30, 2012, and talked about what he has heard of the album in the moment. Royce told: "I'm not so sure how the world is going to respond from some of the things that I've heard from him". He also noted that the things he has heard gave him nightmares. Needles to say, this is one of the most anticipated albums of 2013.
Opinions have been split down the middle regarding the two first singles, Berserk and Survival. Listen to Survival below, which also features on the video game soundtrack for Call of Duty: Ghosts.
The track list, which can be found below, reveals the album is going to feature Skylar Grey, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar and Nate Ruess.

Avril Lavigne’s album Leaked today and it set to be release on Nov. 5th as is Eminem’s Marshall Mathers LP 2…..so it is highly likely to see a leak of MMLP2 real soon, hence he’s a bigger artist

Marshall Mathers LP 2 is one of the hypest sought out albums of the year. Multiple characters have been exposed all week as FRAUDS for having the album and proceeding to leak. I have a good feeling about this weekend tho. Latest will be next Tuesday for sure. btw I will know the minute it goes live fyi.

It’s one of those times during which I want it to leak and not leak at the same time! It’s just a cool feeling to go into the store, buy the CD and have the first listen in the car. If it does leak though, and I’m sure it will, I won’t be able to wait…
When it comes to my favorite artists like Eminem I download the leak and buy the album (You can’t call yourself a fan and not buy the artists albums) when it’s released, the temptation is just too much.
I think “hayden”s coment is fucking spot on…of course its not gon come out and people are gonna riot on how great it is, eminem was the “rap god” back in the early 200’s rap has turned so filtered and oerproduced to where eminem songs this generation just dont understand, only the ones like myself lucky enough to grow up with marshall understand and it cant be expressed in words, MMLP2 is such a relief to me for the main fact….EMINEM IS STILL HERE!

Look at the tracklisting, there’s now songwriting credits, some extra production credits and track lengths. The citation links to some Japanese website with a preorder, but that doesn’t have the production credits, just songwriting and track lengths, so I’m wondering if So Far… is actually produced by Dre. Anyhoo it’s worth a look :P
