In May of this year, the frontman revealed that they had been working on two projects since signing to Lil Wayne’s Cash Money label: a studio album titled ‘Stampede Of The Disco Elephants’, and a follow-up to their 2005 EP ‘The Unquestionable Truth Part 1?.

According to Metal Injection, however, the singer has said that although the band are not splitting up, their popularity has waned as a lot of their former fans “have moved on”.

On March 24, 2013, the first single from the album, "Ready to Go" (Featuring Lil Wayne) was released on limpbizkit.com

Wes Borland gives album update; 2021

Added

Wes Borland gave a statement with 'Drinks With Johnny' host Johnny Christ of Avenged Sevenfold, stating:

"We've probably, in the last 10 years, been in the studio to try and complete the record, I wanna say, seven times, to different studios. And we've been working on stuff, working on stuff, working on stuff. And Fred has been consistently kind of unsatisfied with where vision is, I guess."

Johnny asked Wes about any kind of timeline, and he replied, "I'm not in charge of Fred's vocals… I'm way done with my parts on the record. I'm sure I'll go back in and play a little bit more after. But it's fucking Fred Durst. He went from being a darling to everybody's most hated person in the world. We broke up as a band. He's tried to find his footing, I think, on a bunch of these songs. He's so talented, and I love him so much as a brother, but if he's not ready to do it, he's not ready to do it."

Album Retitled, different tracks

Added

On October 28, 2021, Durst confirmed via Instagram that the band's sixth album – now titled Limp Bizkit StillSucks – would be released on October 31, 2021. This assumes that this is Stampede of the Disco Elephants, retitled.

Tracks are different than previously shared over the past years, so a new album link has been created for 'Stillsucks'

Apparently according to Fred, he released it a year and a half ago…but nobody has found it online. So it’s out there somewhere deep on the internet. Hell, for all we know it could be in the deep web.

That’s definitely not the album. Fred DID say that it’s been hidden online for a long time in a video I saw a while back where he was live streaming from an airplane waiting for takeoff….but that video has since been removed. So, I dunno if he was serious – but I know several blogs and news sites picked up on that news months later and reported that it was apparently out there somewhere….so fans have been scouring the internet for years looking for it and nobody has found it – or if they have, they havent shared it.

I see that the cover has the stampeding disco elephants on it…but the songs, as you said, are remixes and mash ups of songs that already exist. That’s not what an unreleased album of songs would contain….that’s a “fanreleased album”…a compilation thrown together, with some songs possibly/probably created by that Youtube user..or some other one.

I used to really like Limp Bizkit – not going to deny that….saw them on Warped Tour a long ass time ago and loved their set and that first album. I liked the 2nd that year it came out, too…but since then, I havent liked anything they’ve put out. However, the thought of an unreleased record being out there somewhere is enticing…and I would definitely give it a listen if it popped up. Still wonder if Fred Durst was even serious when he said that. Is it really hidden out there somewhere? Is there some kind of riddle to finding it? Did he throw it in a dropbox account at some point and it’s somewhere nobody could find it anyway? Who knows….but it’s intriguing.

New single released today! Album cover art is not “official”, could possibly change, along with the album title.
