How do you defeat leaks? You only release the album to one person.

For the past two years Wu-Tang have been recording an album titled Once Upon A Time In Shaolin which will only be sold to one buyer. The album marks the collectives 20th anniversary, and while they are set to release an album titled A Better Tomorrow, which will get regular distribution - Once Upon A Time is set to travel the world as an art installation and then be sold off to one lucky fan.

According to The Verge, "Fans will be charged a cost to attend a "listening event," where they'll get a chance to hear the album on headphones after being carefully screened for recording materials."

RZA had this to say about the album, "The idea that music is art has been something we advocated for years," says RZA. "And yet it doesn't receive the same treatment as art in the sense of the value of what it is, especially nowadays when it's been devalued and diminished to almost the point that it has to be given away for free."

Interesting, creative and what might be - The first album which can't ever leak.

Martin Shkreli Plays Two Tracks From The Album

Added

Martin Shkreli has partly fulfilled his promise to leak the one-of-a-kind Wu-Tang Clan album if Donald Trump won the US Presidential election. So far Shkreli has played two tracks from the album, and someone obviously recorded it and put it on Youtube.

He is still under embargo, as he payed "$2million for the record, with the stipulation that he doesn’t release it publicly for 88 years."
