Relax, it’s still autumn – But winter is closing in and we’ve got to continue our series of most requested album leaks of 2013. Actually, there are some titles who are set for a 2014 release. But we don’t want to repeat this summer’s leak list where we totally forgot about Drake – So we’re making sure we’re covering as much ground as possible.
But yes, we’re painfully aware that you guys are going to point out the albums we’ve forgotten this time around (actually we appreciate your help, really). Meanwhile, we’re preparing for our big site revamp, titled Has it Leaked 2, and set for a November release. But enough talk, here are the most wanted album leaks set for a late 2013/early 2014 release. And don’t forget to tells us about the titles you look forward to!

We also got Laurel Halo and her album Chance of Rain. It has indeed leaked but only as a low-quality rip since Hyperdub are smart enough to release their promos in 32000khz / 80kbps [Edit: It leaked as a high quality rip just as we wrote this piece]. And an album which never leaked, but was released just yesterday, Vatican Shadow‘s Remember Your Black Day. Incredible stuff. Oh, and we really want Phantogram to give us details on their upcoming full-length album. And finally – A few Twitter users told me to mention Juana Molina‘s orchestral piece WED 21. And we like our Twitter followers, so why not?

The debate regarding Eminem’s latest albums rages on in the comment section. One thing is for sure; “Rap God” is one of his better tracks.

We need to at least mention it… Detox… We know, we know. But it’s still the most requested album since, well forever. Then there’s Cruel Winter, “If there’s a Cruel Summer then there’s got to be a Cruel Winter right?” Q-Tip said, alluding that the G.O.O.D. crew will be following up with another album soon. “That’s all I’m saying.” We can always hope.

I admit, I cheated – The Caspian release is an EP and wasn’t actually added to the site in the first place. But listen to the Soundcloud embed above and judge for yourself – In my opinion, this release need some hype! Then we have Death from above 1979, who reentered the studio but it “felt unnatural” so they’re going on tour and possibly recording things afterwards. But when and if that album pops-up, I’m sure its going to get a lot of love. We should also mention Little Wings album LAST, which isn’t going to be released until February of next year – But should get some attention from folk/indie-fans everywhere. And I was surprised to see Owen Pallett‘s delayed album “In conflict” not being added to the site, but I’ve added it now and hopefully it will make an appearance on the next list.

Released yesterday, the new Lady Gaga butt-covered single featuring R. Kelly. Fitting, since I know R. Kelly appreciates female behinds.

Never underestimate a proper pop song! Charli XCX haven’t revealed a title for her third album but the first single, SuperLove, is proper pop gold. There are other major pop acts currently working on new albums, including Lana Del Rey, Rihanna (does she ever take a break?), D’Angelo, Lauryn Hill and Beyoncé. But all of them lacks titles for now.

Metal heads have had some of the most hyped up albums leaked recently, including acts like Sepultura, Erra, Protest the Hero, Ayreon, Vulture Industries, Warbringer, Toxic Holocaust and Breakdown of Sanity. As for the future, Animals as Leaders have mentioned in an interview with Metal Assault that their third album is heading for a 2014 release. Actually, I’m going to come clean here – We are in dire need of some proper metal coverage. We’ve got the fans and we got the albums, but we hardly ever cover the metal scene. For our big site update we’re making sure we are getting proper metal fans writing for us. Just hold on a bit longer guys!
Wait, what? Did we miss anything? It seems highly unlikely (not really), but just in case – Use the comment section below! And if there’s an album not added to the site, make sure and help us out!
Arcade Fire is my most eagerly awaited album. I’m glad to see them at #1
Oh my, I’ve never heard of A Lot Like Birds and they’re the most hyped metal album? What’s happening with this world.
Just curious, but I feel like Five Finger Death Punch Vol. 2 should be on the metal list. It’s my must have metal/rock album.
the broken bells record is due jan 2014 not august
The Black Keys are coming out with a new album in late December.
Childish Gambino- Because The Internet should be on the list….
