Alessia Cara has big plans. Starting with the wallflower anthem "Here" (about a party Cara hated) on SoundCloud, The song blew up, garnering 500,000 streams in its first week online (today, "Here" has sold over 200,000 copies on iTunes, Smashed into The Billboard 100 at 58, and has been added constantly to radio stations across the country). The following summer, Alessia released "Four Pink Walls", a track EP telling tales of wanting to grow up too fast ("Seventeen"), loving a criminal ("Outlaws"), and grudgingly getting back together with a lover ("I'm Yours"). Cara then announced a full-length to hand in hand with "Four Pink Walls": "Know-It-All".
She is an amazing artist! Shes original & unique and her music is catchy and her lyrics so relatable. She has a super chill vibe, but with class. And shes so talented at such a young age! Just the fact that she came out of nowhere and her first two singles “Here” and “Seventeen” were hits just goes to show she has so much more in store for her. I’ve been so excited to see what had been working on and now her first debut album is released and its FIRE! I’m so excited to watch her go big, she’s way too underrated, but it won’t be long till she’s big.
