With there being 10 songs on the album I’m hoping we get a few long ones, and don’t end up with a 35 minute album. I’ve waited too long for that.

They’ve just played the whole Walls album live at Ascend Amphitheate, and then played the rest of their hits as a super long encore. Cant wait for the live youtube uploads. :O
Two negative reviews have surface as the first for the album. Only two stars and a star and a half. Hoping it’s not true.
Ah! Everybody hates on them. Used to it. She said Around the World is cheesy? What gives.
No offense but both sides are unknown. Somehow I cannot believe that they got a CD for review earlier than “major” website – their reviews were made purely for clicks. One of them mentions that ‘around the world’ sounds cheesy … give me a fucking break, if that song is cheesy then I am a pope.
Not overly worried by reviews… music is subjective and what you might think is the greatest song ever written is someone elses pet hate.
Most music reviewers online are idiots that only like what they think its cool to like or different to try and be the “oh i only like “Insert new band here” they are amazing” when you or i would think it sounds like drunk cats running into a set of drums whilst another drunk cat meows down the mic.
Buy Walls, love it, hate it or think its ok, but dont let it be your decision not that of a music nazi.
Most people will say its not like Youth and Young Manhood etc. but thats people that expect bands to churn out the same stuff… how can a band write music like they did 10+ years ago about girls, or drugs or money etc when they are married with kids and sacks of of cash.. song writing is inspired by wanting or needing and things that affect your life, if you still make songs that sound that way clearly something is up.
i have bought every album the week it came out from Youth and Young Manhood to Mech Bull.. some better than others and i will get Walls next week, but i wont let someone tell me a song is good or bad :)
They played the album in its entirety tonight at their show in Nashville. I’m sure we will hear all of it on YouTube over the weekend if it doesn’t leak anyway.

yes, because of the times and only by the night were leaked at least one week early. i think the other two were a day or two early
This is the first time that a KOL album as not been available before release. Good job boys, you cracked the code. I’m just grateful for the few good songs that they have put out so far. Around and the World and Reverend are insanely good. I think Over and Find Me will also be big hits.
Please KOL ditch this producer. The songs sound neutered on the album. Much better live.
The production of Over is not as good as the song feels when it is live. The vocals sound monotone and the guitars are soft. Bass is the only thing I really like. This song had the potential to be very powerful and it turned out to be just kinda corny.
