Róisín Murphy Take Her Up to Monto

Once again, Irish artist Róisín Murphy is back, this time to follow-up her fourth studio album that was released last year, "Hairless Toys". The tilte of the new album, which was revealed word by word through her instagram, is "Take Her Up to Monto" (Monto being the nickname for the one-time red light district in Dublin), and is scheduled to be released on August 7th via Play It Again Sam.

The first promotional and current untitled single is expected to be premiered exclusively on Pitchfork on April 19th.

The release date was misread as in the North American way of comprehending it, so it is not August 7th, but July 8th.

Also, the cover of the album was revealed today along with this declaration by Róisín: "On the face of it-it's bold and irreverent but the artwork is multilayered and will have you puzzling out the very personal narratives within - for some time to come. Thanks The Designers Republic".
