Perhaps almost an oxymoron, Christian Black/Viking Metal formation Slechtvalk had been busy crowdfunding their new release for a while now. It finally (and somewhat suddenly) arrived on December 16th.

Despite being active for almost 16 years, Slechtvalk have seemingly (pun intended) flown under the radar, for most of the metal-loving community. Anyone into epic tales of battle with a heavy dose of melody, absolutely needs to check these guys out!
