Grammy winner (for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, Bilal and Thundercat) Anna Wise is set to release her debut album, the follow-up to her project and first EP back in 2016, "The Feminine: Act I".
For the second act, Anna stated that "...this is an important time for all women to feel proud and happy to be ourselves, exactly as we are. To love ourselves and truly listen to and love others. I hope this project is a testament to the strength and the power that women have when we work together".
The first single off of "The Feminine: Act II" is "Coconut", a jazzy-electronic tune with trap beats that uses aquatic synths and muted horns, in which the singer references a changing tide of pushing past arbitrary barriers to conquer insurmountable heights.
