"Pollinator” is the eleventh studio album by American rock band Blondie. It’s expected to be released on March 17th via Infectious Records.
It’s executive-produced by John Congleton and marks the band’s return to a more band-oriented sound following the group’s experimentation with electronic music for their previous release “Ghosts of Download“ (2014).
It was made up of a series of collaborations written by outside writers, including songs written by TV On The Radio’s David Sitek, Johnny Marr, Sia and Nick Valensi from The Strokes, Charli XCX and Dev Hynes, with only two collaborations between Blondie founding members Debbie Harry and Chris Stein.
I can’t wait!!! I really didn’t like the way the previous album sounded, but I love “Fun”.
Love ‘Fun’, it sounds like classic Blondie. I agree that their last few albums haven’t been that great, but I am really looking forward to this album. I am seeing them live in 3 weeks, so I am sure we are going to hear a few tracks from the album during the concert :-)
Still got it
