Strange how the first part is only going to be 35 minutes long. Heres to hoping the second part is an epic hour long album and it being the reason they couldn’t put it all on one CD.

Did I overlook something, and the track lengths are known? Haven’t seen anything about album length. 35 minutes seems short. Must be an interlude track or something in there. I really would like one trademark 12+ min btbam song, but if the entirety is as good as the 6 1/2 minutes I’ve heard, I won’t complain a whole lot…

This is just from wikipedia but it seems cited properly.

        1. “Condemned to the Gallows” 6:35
        2. “House Organ” 3:41
        3. “Yellow Eyes” 8:45
        4. “Millions” 4:43
        5. “Gold Distance” 1:02
        6. “Blot” 10:27
        Total length: 35:13

Part 1 is coming shortly and then part 2 is supposed to come out in the Summer!

Thanks for the info. Decent long closer as usual. Very much looking forward to this release. Bought tickets to SF just based on the 27 second teaser last week ( and the fact that I love this band and have yet to see them )

Unconfirmed, but I guess there’s an image floating around that says the tracklist of Part II is:

          1. “The Proverbial Bellow” 13:18
          2. “Glide” 2:13
          3. “Voice of Trespass” 7:58
          4. “The Grid” 9:45

Man if this is true, and it probably is. I doubt part 2 would be an hour long or something, it will probably be right around the same length. Before I even saw this possible tracklist for part 2, when I added how long part 1 is, I was immediately pissed. Cuz I knew, this is not a double album, this is 1 single album split into 2 releases to make twice the money. & I’m almost certain that Sumerian pushed this idea on btbam due to the massive success of Periphery’s Juggernaut (which was at least a legit double album.) But I’m still really disappointed in btbam for going along with this marketing stunt. Ironic to say all this on a site about leaked music, I know, whatever lol. But part 1 has 6 songs that are a total of 34-35 minutes overall….The Great Misdirect had 6 songs and was WELL over an hour! Then if this part 2 track list is true, it has an almost identical overall length. So the total time for the combined “double album” is 66:27. That’s not even their 3rd longest album length. Parallax 1 had just 3 songs and was over 30 minutes in length! I mean I love what I’ve heard so far, it reminds me of the Colors & Great Misdirect era a bit, which I love. But I’m just pissed that anybody would try to pass this off as a double album. Marketing, the label, the band, anyone. This is one album cut in half. Period.

reminds me of The Parallax 1 and 2 as far as the album lengths go.

Thank you but I hope we can have it in a better quality because 128kbps sucks!

  • March 2, 2018 at 7:50 pm

I don’t care if it’s 128k, I’m so happy right now. It’s so much better than Coma.

I’m enjoying this more than their last release. Part 2 should be dope as well.
