This album will be the greatest thing put out by him if it is anything like Ambition.
ambition sucks compared to anything he released before joining MMG. More About Nothing was his best project ever.
No bull. He was the truth pre MMG. Even his mixtapes don’t sound the same on MMG. Barely listened to Folarin. But yes, More About nothing was Perfection. So was AD. And all his mixtapes prior were dope. Im from the area, been following the man since the beginning, and im dissapointed these days.

I agree with what your saying except for calling AD perfection, that was the definition of a flop imo. He will always be an artist who peeked as a mixtape guy before MMG like you had said, More about nothing was perfection, so was back to the feature (imo his best project)
AD a flop??!?!?! AD was only a flop in sales. The message he delivered on that album. The lyrical prowess he showed in Prescription alone was beautiful. Not to mention His flow on beautiful bliss … you should rap genius it sometime … that crap was mad intricate. Both verses … especially the second one.
When the level of musical enjoyment isn’t there at all it severely takes away from any message. Can’t ever cosign that album. I was a huge fan of Wale’s until AD dropped and have been trying to get myself to like him again ever since. He has some moments but I haven’t heard a solid project from him in a good while now. The gifted wasn’t very great either IMO unfortunately.

Cole originally had his slated for 6/25 with Wale. He changed it to the 18th to compete with Yeezus after it was announced. So Musa’s comment 2 months ago was correct.

I read that industry insiders were impressed by the album – for whatever that’s worth! Agreed re: Ambition. He needs to roll with the flow from Pandemonium.
