Honestly, its not like their instrumentation has changed much, still djent, still metalcore, still nu, whatever. As if it mattered anyway. If this one isn’t your bag you have two other heavier ones with far better lyrics [and in my opinion a less easy-listening vocalist which makes it more appealing to me] and heavy breakdowns.

Disaster Vehicle is trash but the rest of the album is very decent.

If youre into their legitimate sound as screaming and very little singing, except for a few, this wont be your cup of tea. Theyve flipped the tables and now virtually all songs have singing with some songs containing only screams. Though to be fair the ones with singing do have harsh vocals too, just not limited to it like volumes used to be. Me having little faith wasnt expecting much. But after listening to it with speculation, being a hardcore V fan, I have to say its not as bad as I thought it was gonna be. Granted Im not into volumes turning into the singing band it now is, but I can (more so forced) accept whats been givin. Being said that, the one shit thing is the time of the album. A little of 30 minutes??? WTF?…I can only hope they dont go full blown singing like some other bands but bands will do as they please. Heres to more decent Volumes in the future! #VTEAM
