Talib Kweli is preparing the release of his fifth studio album, Prisoner of Consciousness. The Brookyln, NY MC has said in interviews that the album will be a bit of a change of pace from previous releases; the writing for the album is an attempt to discuss the things that people are going through and every day life.
The album will be released through Blacksmith/EMI and the first single "Push Thru" featuring Curren$y, Kendrick Lamar & Glen Reynolds has already been given the video treatment.
No other details such as cover art or release date are currently available.
