Without a doubt the most successful artist on the XXL 2015 Freshman class, Fetty Wap has revealed that he'll release his self-titled debut album on September 25, 2015. His song "Trap Queen" was arguably the biggest hip hop single of the summer, and he just recently became the first rapper since Eminem to have three songs in the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time (Ludacris accomplished this, but with songs he was featured on). "Trap Queen", "679" and "My Way" were all in the top 20, while his newest single "Again" looms. If "Again" (which is currently in the Top 40) manages to crack the top 20, he'll join Eminem and The Beatles as the only artists to have four songs on the Top 20 at the same time. Meanwhile, the one-eyed sensation will try and see if he can sell albums as well as he sells singles, "Fetty Wap" will be released by RGF Productions, 300 Entertainment and Atlantic Records.

New Music: Fetty Wap – ‘RGF Island’

Added

With nine days until his self-titled debut drops, Fetty Wap has released yet another track from the project. On his Remy Boyz anthem “RGF Island,” which previously appeared on his mixtape Zoo Style, Fetty reps his 1738 crew (“I do this for my squad, I do this for my gang”) and wilds out with his boys on an island.

The album does not feature any guests, but that was intentional. “Before I came out with another song, ‘Trap Queen’ was doing so good, but only the name Fetty Wap was behind it,” he told Rolling Stone. “I made my name already…. When they hear the album, it’s gonna be Fetty Wap, the artist, featuring his brothers. There’s no superstars on the album; my brothers are superstars to me.”
