During the 2013 MTV VMA's, Eminem announced the release of his upcoming album, MMLPII. It will be the sequel to his 2000 album, The Marshall Mathers LP. The Marshall Mathers LP 2 will be the rapper's eighth studio album by American rapper Eminem and will be released through Aftermath Entertainment, Shady Records, and Interscope Records. Production for the album took place during 2011 to 2013, at several recording studios and was handled by various record producers, including himself, Rick Rubin, No ID and Dr. Dre.
Royce da 5'9" appeared on RapFix with his group Slaughterhouse, on August 30, 2012, and talked about what he has heard of the album in the moment. Royce told: "I'm not so sure how the world is going to respond from some of the things that I've heard from him". He also noted that the things he has heard gave him nightmares. Needles to say, this is one of the most anticipated albums of 2013.
Opinions have been split down the middle regarding the two first singles, Berserk and Survival. Listen to Survival below, which also features on the video game soundtrack for Call of Duty: Ghosts.
The track list, which can be found below, reveals the album is going to feature Skylar Grey, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar and Nate Ruess.
Berzerk isn’t a song that you like from hearing it once. Its pretty good after hearing it a few times but that’s not good. I like it, I just hope his whole album isn’t like this. Honestly, you won’t be seeing anyone slapping this in their car.

Recovery was better then Encore in full. Recovery’s main problem was incredibly corny and stupid hooks, but the bars weren’t that bad compared to Encore’s terrible throw away tracks. and I would only give Relapse a 7, and that’s generous. I would give Infinite a solid 7 as well, how did you like Relapse more then infinite? The other ratings are spot on though.
Relapse is my favorite eminem album. His lyrics are sick in almost every song. Also much much prefer him rapping about doing ambien and valium then being “not afraid” Recovery is easily my least favorite.
Relapse is second only to The Eminem Show, fuck nigga

cant really count encore as a real album, its a best hits album and I think you are to harsh with the recovery score, if you know what he was going through and experienced what he was rapping about then you would love it. My friend was recovering off of heroin and in rehab when he started listening to that album, we both enjoyed it. My friend is fine now though hes a councilor in rehab now.
Encore was a real album, Curtain Call was the greatest hits album

To me, the album cover looks like the same house (from MMLP) from the same angle and of the same side of the house, but the front tree has lost much of it’s leaves. It also looks to have been abandoned and weeds and shrubs have been growing around the house. Looks like the windows have also been boarded up.

I notice that people who think Eminem is “old school” also don’t like his new stuff. Everyone that loved the recovery album “hates” Berzerk. However, Berzerk is more “traditional” Slim Shady than anything in the last five years.
P.S. Recovery was horrible as a whole, with some good individual songs.
