Kitchener-based metal outfit Exalt delivered their Pale Light in 2014. Now, the crew have unveiled its follow-up, The Shape You Took Before the Ache, is set to arrive this summer.
Produced by Pete Grossman and Andy Nelson (Harm's Way, Weekend Nachos), the new record will feature "massive heaviness through simple, brutish riffs and primitive, machine-like rhythms" across 11 tracks, a press release reveals. Hitting for "maximum impact through minimalist tactics," the band's latest sonic direction can be heard on album opener "Sacrifice to Purity," which can be found below.
