Looks like we’re getting more than a single. Beyoncé working on new album and it sounds ‘beyond awesome’. Billboard now reports that the star’s stylist, Ty Hunter, has claimed to have heard the singer’s new record.
“I’ve heard the new album and it’s beyond awesome,”
he said during an episode of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.
Beyoncé’s next album will be her sixth studio release. She released her last LP, her self-titled effort, in December 2013.February 10, 2016 at 10:45 am #188779mojibKeymaster@mojibLevel S
Anti-Beyoncé protest planned
An anti-Beyonce protest will take place in New York next week in response to her appearance at the Super Bowl half-time show.
Beyoncé joined Coldplay during their high-profile appearance at the Super Bowl on Sunday (February 7), performing her new single ‘Formation’ 24 hours after releasing track and its politically charged video online.
The performance has been criticized in some corners for being “anti-police” with its references to references to the Black Panthers and the Black Lives Matter movement. A formal protest outside the NFL headquarters in Manhattan is now scheduled for February 16, the same day that ticket for Beyoncé’s ‘Formation’ tour go on sale.
An event description obtained by the New York Daily News describes the performance as “hate speech” and “racism”, asking potential attendees: “Are you offended as an American that Beyonce pulled her race-baiting stunt at the Superbowl? Do you agree that it was a slap in the face to law enforcement?”
The protest is scheduled to take place between 8am-4pm next week
Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani criticised Beyoncé on Monday, saying it was “outrageous” to make a political statement during a football game.
“This is football, not Hollywood, and I thought it was really outrageous that she used it as a platform to attack police officers who are the people who protect her and protect us, and keep us alive,” he said.
