I also confirm the system mishap.February 25, 2013 at 6:00 pm #15669February 25, 2013 at 11:40 pm #15695
This is what happend: There was an outage during the end of last year and 2013 which made the site not save leak notification emails correctly.
Do this: Double check! Visit the albums you’ve signed-up for a few weeks back and click on the “Send me an email…” link again! The system will then tell you if you’re registered or not.
This is happening: We’ve already corrected this (last week in fact), and we’re figuring out a way to add your emails back in for old albums. And we’re working on a seamlessly and much easier way for you to confirm that you’re signed-up in the future.

Working again for me! Thank you!March 13, 2013 at 5:57 am #17107
Notifications are back to not working. After the problem was temporarily fixed, it has come up again that albums I requested notifications for (double checked every day that they were on my list) are being reported leaked, disappearing from the list, and an email is never received. What gives? This problem was just fixed and now back to the way it was…..March 13, 2013 at 2:42 pm #17110
@pvpchy Let me know which album you didn’t get an email from and I’ll check.March 13, 2013 at 4:46 pm #17115
it was the Justin timberlake 20/20 experience that I registered for updates for and curved received an emailMarch 13, 2013 at 5:41 pm #17117
The email notifications are in fact working, however – Read my above post and re-register for the album notifications if you want to make sure!
@pvpchy I’ve just checked and you weren’t on the notifications list for the JT album. That means you unfortunately registered for the notification when the system had a blackout which meant that while it was added to your list, it never registered properly. Sorry this affected your notification for Timberlake!March 13, 2013 at 7:28 pm #17119
Ok I went back to all the albums on my list and hit the registration link. They all said the same thing, that I am already registered, which is the same thing the JT page gave me just a few days ago so hope they work…March 18, 2013 at 8:37 pm #17506DanekParticipant@danekLevel 3
Glad to see this feature working again.
Have you considered adding personalized rss feed with leakage updates?May 8, 2013 at 1:16 pm #42266Peter DonoghueParticipant@donoghue813Level 3
Hi, just a heads up, but I didn’t receive any email or notifications at all regarding the Vampire Weekend and Primal Scream releases?
Not sure, notification settings are good and my notification wishlist is up to date.

As of late, emails have been ending up in spam folders. So they are being sent, and I would recommend approving emails coming from @hasitleaked.com">firstname.lastname@example.org in your mail configuration, to avoid any problems.
However, we’re re-enabling Amazon SES email services which will increase the email deliver success rate.
