A Day to Remember from Florida formed in 2003 and are being described as a metalcore/pop-punk/rock band. The bands current line-up include Jeremy McKinnon, Neil Westfall, Josh Woodard, Alex Shelnutt and Kevin Skaff. The band is set to release their new album "Common Courtesy" October the 8th.
An album which have seen a lot of delays. Common Courtesy was announced by the band with a countdown included. Once the countdown hit zero, first single "Violence (Enough Is Enough)" was released. This was back in December and since there's been a lot of speculation when the album actually will be released. On March 18th, Jeremy McKinnon, announced on Twitter that "Common Courtesy is officially tracked! Now, onward to mixing.". Still no official track list.
The band announced Friday night at a show in Michigan that the judge ruled that they could release their album October 8, without Victory. Here is the live video of that announcement.
I believe Victory’s video has to do with Close Your Eyes. The font in the video is almost if not identical to the one on the album cover for their new record
so bad… I really like CYE and wanted to listen to their new record, but… with CC coming out the same day, I think I’m not going to listen to it before long ^^
Hey guys, do me a favor and check out the band State Champs. Their first full length comes out the same day as CC, and it’s going to be absolutely amazing as well. They are easily one of the best pop punk bands around now, they will be as big as TSSF someday soon – this album, The Finer Things, will be their break through. Stupid Victory Records. If it wasn’t for them, who knows, maybe we would have a new song to hold us over until the release. Maybe if something good happens on the 2nd we’ll get one.

I know Im not your teacher and i know everyone (including me) hates Victory for doing this but, I think you should be un-biased and show both sides. You’d get more marks.

I was at the concert last night in Cedar Park, TX. Jeremy definitely brought up the Victory Records scandal and just simply said that the album will be out on the 8th and he doesn’t care what the forces say or do! It definitely boosted my confidence as a fan hearing him say that in person :)
This post just made me happy knowing he said that which makes me feel like I shouldn’t worry about not being able to hear it by the 8th :)

I’d guess it’s probably for songs that have 3 guitar tracks, or maybe bits that are acoustic inside an electric song.

Hey, they are using seven strings sometimes as well.. they have really come far with their guitar work and it shows on Violence

As far as they don’t put solos in every song, I’m okay with it !
They use seven strings for Violence, and they are also working with Gibson so that’s pretty damn good haha

Haha don’t worry they will seem like the right ADTR song names once you have seen the song names enough it’s because they are new. I always find the new songs awkward looking for any artists at first and then they grow on you.

I don’t think so. They confirmed City of Ocala as a song title, and we’ve also seen “Where I Came From” on that board from the webseries. Could be City of Ocala (Where I Came From) or something. Like Violence (Enough is Enough). The title has a second part to it. Who knows?

I wouldn’t really rely on the board for definitive titles. It seems like a lot of them have to do with a vibe about the song like Smash Mouth cover. Obviously they didn’t record a smash mouth cover, but maybe there’s something about the song, maybe a melody or a verse that gives off a Smash Mouth vibe.

City Of Ocala; Sometimes You’re The Hammer, Sometimes You’re The Nail; I’m Already Gone; Best Of Me; and Life Lessons Learned The Hard Way have been confirmed in interviews and VIP acoustic shows. The rest are from the songboards in one of the CC episodes so I’m not sure if they’re actual song titles.
Last night during the acoustic set he talked about a song called “I remember”. He said it was the last song on the record. It’s a song about some of the memories the band has had over the years.

Reporting back from the show in Dallas: INSANE SHOW! I highly encourage any of you to go if there is a stop in your area. I couldn’t get any video cause my phone died during the intermission but Jeremy said himself, “no matter what shit goes down, Common Courtesy will be out October 8th, and nothing is gonna stop us, and to all the things that have tried to stop us we say FUCK YOU!”
Also, the videos of Dead & Buried don’t do justice to how heavy that song truly is. My ears drums may have disintegrated from it. Overall, I have no voice, bruises, and the memories of a lifetime due to last night. ADTR forever.
I will seriously listen to this album on repeat for months. It’s gonna be legendary.

According to the forums on here, there was a malware attack a few days back, and Google can be a bit weird in terms of updating their blacklist sometimes. It’s happened to a few sites I’ve been on before. If you go on the hasitleaked twitter there’s a link to a site scanner that proves that this is clean. It’s just google being cautious.
I like it that way, if they are cautious then i’m more protected.
This may not apply to you, but during my history on this site, my computer has picked up 2 viruses from it. Anytime I go onto the site on my computer, I’ll get the virus, so I just stick to going on my iPad.

It’s obvious that Victory Records is running out this page. You only have to look to the merch site indicated out there. It’s different from the other, runned by ADTR on their official website.

This is a local newspaper just talking about concerts coming to their city. I would highly doubt this paper had insider info before there was actually even an official verdict from the courts on Wednesday. Guy whose writing it probably didn’t put too much effort into fact checking.

Hate to be the guy to not believe it but I honestly think the person who wrote that probably isn’t as up to date with the entire situation like we are and just wrote what little pieces of information they had and then things got lost in translation. Though I won’t disprove it just yet even though I’m pretty sure ADTR would of been the first to announce this not some website that isn’t that well known.

I remember reading somewhere before Violence came out that the first single from CC would be a track that didn’t make the cut from What Separates Me From You. I believe it was called something like “This is Not What You’re Supposed To be” or something. But maybe I’m wrong lol.
