A Day to Remember from Florida formed in 2003 and are being described as a metalcore/pop-punk/rock band. The bands current line-up include Jeremy McKinnon, Neil Westfall, Josh Woodard, Alex Shelnutt and Kevin Skaff. The band is set to release their new album "Common Courtesy" October the 8th.

An album which have seen a lot of delays. Common Courtesy was announced by the band with a countdown included. Once the countdown hit zero, first single "Violence (Enough Is Enough)" was released. This was back in December and since there's been a lot of speculation when the album actually will be released. On March 18th, Jeremy McKinnon, announced on Twitter that "Common Courtesy is officially tracked! Now, onward to mixing.". Still no official track list.

The band announced Friday night at a show in Michigan that the judge ruled that they could release their album October 8, without Victory. Here is the live video of that announcement.

Honestly who gives a flying fuck if this album is released on victory or not. It dosent matter. As long as they release the album in some way, shape, or form who cares. Just wait 6 days and chill about what it’s being released on.

Some people actually care about the happiness of the band.

You do understand, and know how to read right? the 8th is a tentative date. If victory wins this case, Common Courtesy won’t be digitally released on the 8th, and the wait will become even longer.

“Your digital copy of Common Courtesy is estimated to be delivered to you via download link as early as October 8th, but there is a chance its release may be delayed by forces outside of our control.”

      Straight off the ADTR website.

We don’t care about Victory Records at all. What we care about is the fact that they’re a bunch of leeches, and if they win this lawsuit, it could ruin A Day To Remember. Obviously you haven’t read just about every comment on here about the lawsuit, otherwise you would understand why all of us are so concerned about it being released on the label.

I have been following this site forever and I finally decided to make an account. Does anyone know when the case will be happening? Jeremy just posted a picture on Instagram with josh, and it looks like they’re still at the tour location.

I’ve been so nervous all day. I have rehearsal in about an hour, and I’m not even sure I’ll be able to focus. I’m sure ADTR will come out victorious, but it’s that slight chance that they won’t that scares me to death. :(

If the US government shutdown caused all the courts to close I’d be pretty ticked off that the album would be getting delayed more because of politics. Luckily courts aren’t closed. (Don’t take that comment as a jab at any political party because I’m not really a political person)

Well… Apparently deleting a comment changes it to guest. I deleted it because the picture i added didn’t show up but basically I asked “how will we know once they’ve entered the courtroom? Like are there public records updating somewhere?” Their response was “no”
I’ve been posting a lot in the past hour… hahaha

Album will most likely not be released on the 8th….hmmmm i wonder who caused the delay….either our shitty Judicial system where the judge needed a day off…or Victory asked for a postponement and sucked the Judge’s dick and then paid them off….good on Victory….sucking dicks everywhere.

Definitely not getting released on the eighth, unless they hop into court within the next few days.

I personally think that someone is going to end up leaking it if it really is delayed. They said we’re getting the album either way.

I hope so; the guys in ADTR seem to be genuine. I fear leaking could get them in a lot of trouble though. I’m still debating downloading it if it does leak, I preordered the digital release and feel like I’ll only get more excited if I wait for that.

They probably would get in TONS of trouble, they would probably have to pay Victory pretty much money, but I’m sure they prefer to lose some money than their career as a band…

Well according to some people here Jeremy has been insisting that it’ll be out on the 8th no matter what even really recently. Kinda feel like he might just leak it then if it can’t be out officially on the 8th

I’m pissed… They aren’t gonna have another day to meet in court and CC is gonna get postponed once again and just blah… I can’t stand Victory. They suck. All we want is to hear the music… :(

I guess POZ created too much speculation about the court case today. Who guarantees that the case wasn’t solved today? His sources? Why they do continue answering us with short answers about the case. Let’s not trust everything we see on internet. Could be a huge speculation just to build hype. Idk, just seems too wage to me. I’m certain that ADTR would have done a statement to all of us, and we don’t received the email saying that the album will be delayed.

When i preordered CC, they say in the email that, if the album gets delayed but “forces out of their control” that they would stay in contact to get as much info as they can about a new date, download links and all of this stuff. Let’s just wait. Think positive!

I think we should expect some sort of explanation soon especially seeing as how people have payed money to hear this album they have to explain if we wont have it on the 8th which sucks but It’s out of our control so what much can we do.. I was really excited all day and then hearing that court case didn’t even happen was such a buzz kill.

exactly! i’ve got this same bad feeling by following the case with the news posted on POZ. The worst part is that they say that this is all ADTR’s fault, but man! They just want their rights respected. And we, as goodd fans just want to hear new stuff from them

I think that if ADTR entered the court with Victory records and Victory won, or if they didn’t actually entered the court and the date was posponed, ADTR would already have released and statement explaining the whole situation. I just can’t believe they would let their fans without knowing what’s up with the album and then in 8 October, bam! They find theirselves with nothing but a high disappointment. I don’t thing that’s ADTR style.

I’ll just say, don’t believe anything you read on POZ or anywhere if it’s not official information from the band or even Victory Records. Let’s not forget Jeremy said we would have the album no matter what, I actually believe that if the date was posponed they would do something like an “Accidental” leak just for the sake of us.

It’s hard to stay positive with all of this, but hey, this wouldn’t be the first time internet seems to have something legit and then all is anything but a enormous lie just to win money by people visiting these pages. I’m still pretty sure that we will listen to CC on October 8th.
